The issue is not clear.

One generally uses an event of processing type initialize to default values and of type check for validations.

If you just want to reset the values  go with type initialize event.

and code in method IF_HRASR00GEN_SERVICE~INITIALIZE

For other cases have the event of type check and code in IF_HRASR00GEN_SERVICE~DO_OPERATIONS.
