I may advise you to re-check your steps with the XSODATA consumption example from the IoT Starter Kit iot-starterkit/src/apps/xs/consumption at master · SAP/iot-starterkit · GitHub (it contains a bit outdated screenshots but the main procedure and idea should be the same to what you try to achieve). Hopefully it will help you.
